Analyzing kanban method in the implementation of just in time at PT. Suzuki Indomobil Tambun 2
This thesis is to analyze Kanban method in the implementation of Just In Time theory at PT.Suzuki Indomobil Tambun 2. PT.Suzuki Indomobil Tambun 2 produces cars. PT.Suzuki Indomobil Tambun 2 uses the pull system in its inventory system. The problem that company faces is there is overstock engine in the big number in the engine storage in G-Line. PT.Suzuki Indomobil Tambun 2 order the engine from the engine supplier (Cakung plant) and engine delivery information (kanban) trigger the shipping engine from Cakung to Tambun 2 plant. However there is missing information in that engine delivery information (kanban). The writer put new information in the engine delivery information. This information can optimize the work of Suzuki delivery information. By optimizing the Suzuki delivery information it can reduce the inventory stock level and will increase profit.
