Data acquisition of sensors used in a positive displacement hydraulic pump
This project is part of integration from Drive Technique Integration of Positive Displacement Pump1 and Viscosity effect on pressure loss of Positive Displacement Pump2 which will be published in order to investigate and analyze small pipe used in industry. The purpose of this thesis is to provide data for further investigation concerning ┬╜ inch pipe through data acquisition. The methodology itself consists of selecting the right flowmeter, addressing channels and programming the data acquisition as well as designing the user interactive control panel using Labview program. After conducting the experiment, it is concluded that in order to obtain an accurate data acquisition should fulfill several requirements in order to avoid unwanted errors. The selected flowmeter is very accurate within its range following the k-faktor error measurements. Lower range of flow rate is accurately detected with Leybold module.
