The application of electro-pneumatics in an automatic door system

This thesis will show and explain the application of electro-pneumatics in an automatic door system. There are a lot of types of automatic door system. Some of them need to be monitored remotely and safety factor needs to be added on it. The basic idea of this thesis is to make a door system which answers those problems above. This system will always report the status of the door via LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) so that the operator can monitor the door remotely, and add some safety factor so that none will stuck on a door while it is closing, also by some electronics and programming works, the door will had some procedure to open and close automatically at the beginning and at the end of the system, so when it is applied on a transit buses, there will be no additional door for driver needed. From this system, people can develop into a wider field of door utilization.
