Development of infrared communication module in wireless robot control application
The emergence of Bluetooth and infrared technology and the use of them in costumer products have definitely brougHTM a new meaning to the word 'mobile'. As the result, cable is now being considered as limitation to mobility. rnrnThe main idea of this thesis is to model an automated warehouse that utilizes an autonomous line-follower robot, which task, among others, is to convey material from station to station. The thesis focuses on the use of infrared devices in controlling and monitoring of the robot. rnrnDriven to achieve both flexibility and mobility, features of infrared devices will be explored in the world of robotics and automation. Infrared devices will be implemented to establish a wireless control and monitor system.
