In this paper a Disk Orientating Station is built as a part of FMS which will be controlled with Micro Controller and able to communicate with other stations through network system.rnThe purposes of this research are: to build and to control the Disk Orientating Station using micro controller. Secondly, by implementing it in Flexible Manufacturing System, we can eliminate the rejected part, caused by miss positioning and to save time.rnThis project is divided into two general sub-projects. First is building the mechanism. This subproject including: design mechanism, design parts, manufacture, and assembly. Second is building software and electrical part. This project including: make a list of I/O, design I/O board, make power supply, and make program in microcontroller. By using Computer Aided Design (CAD) and simulation, both sub-projects can be finished easier.
