This project aims to design and implement a vending machine for office use. This vending machine is equipped with a RFID reader. This RFID reader will read data (customer credit account) from customer's RFID card. Then this data that from RFID reader will be transmitted to microcontroller and then microcontroller will send command to actuator. The actuator will dispense a chosen item (eq. cigarette) into a bin; that can be retrieved by the customer. An infra red sensor is attached to detect whether the item is still available or not. The actuator use in the vending machine is the power door-lock. It is normally use in the car door lock system, but fit the vending machine system.
