Swiss German University campus portal: an integrated concept to achieve competitive advantage
This thesis explores the opportunity for an integrated web portal for Swiss German University and what necessary content should be included. Business models alternatives and marketing strategies for the portal will also be examined. The study will also examine the expectation of campus online communication, service, the current online facility and the gap between them.rnrnThe theory that will be used in this thesis is the theory of Competitive Advantage by Michael E. Porter which stated that Competitive Advantage can be reached from a specific business process rather than from the whole business performance. Therefore the Integrated Campus Portal will be the certain business process that may result in Competitive Advantage for Swiss German University
