With only a few people realize it the word Digital Signal Processing has been giving huge impact on human live. From communication to security system, digital signal processing plays a significant role in ensuring the quality of human life. This thesis aims on studying the digital signal processing by using a microcontroller as a cheap microprocessor to study Digital Signal Processing. The tool used in this thesis is microcontroller ATMEGA-8535. We programmed it for a few application of digital signal processing. The thesis is aimed at making a simple Digital Signal Processing experiment, just to show how the Digital Signal Processing works. By learning the basic knowledge of digital signal processing we can expand the knowledge into a more detail and complex application. Such as voice recognition or seismic calculation.
