Designing and constructing a waxing machine for tv screens
This thesis is about a waxing machine for TV screens. The waxing machine uses DC motors, AC motor, microcontroller, motor drivers, limit switches, and pneumatic double acting cylinders. A microcontroller plays an important role in this waxing machine. It acts as the medium from the sensors to the motors and pneumatic cylinder. For the motor drivers, four relays that form an H-bridge circuit are used. H-bridge circuit is selected instead of PWM circuit as the speed of the motors does not need to be controlled precisely. The pneumatic double acting cylinder is used to push up the arm that holds the AC motor which functions as the waxing motor.
