Further development and performance analysis of an electric bicycle based on microcontroller
This thesis is made for developing and analyzing an electric bicycle using microcontroller. There are several things that the author made to improve the performance of electric bicycle. In the development of motor control system, new throttle system is equipped. The electric bicycle is also improved with electrical breaking system. When breaking system is applied, the throttle is disabled and PWM signal supplied to the motor is ramped down exponentially to maintain negative motor torque. This electric bicycle is also equipped with magneto speed sensor for measuring its speed.
