Applying, analysing and configuring matplc (an open source software) for modular production system

Narasantha, Putu Gde - Personal Name; Tanaya, Prianggada Indra - Personal Name;

Open source software has become vastly demanded by the world today. Many communities are building upon this occurrence, developing their own software to serverntheir own special purposes. So this is the reason why we have to develop software thatrnhelp engineers, especially Mechatronics engineers. Programmable Logic Controllerrn(PLC) is one of industrial automation components. Various programmable logicrncontrollers available in the market. Open programmable logic controller is an effort tornmake a neutral PLC components and programming that may be available to industrialrnusers. One of open source project on PLC is MatPLC. Various development has beenrnperformed to enhanced the functionality of MatPLC. In this article, we use MatPLC tornmodular processing systems. A study on Instruction Logic language, Parallel Portrninterfacing, and setting up internal configuration of MatPLC, amongst others, are somerneffort to understand the software structure and functionality, and might be eventually tornstart joining the development of this software. Upon completing this exercises, we gainrnunderstanding to use this software, how to implement it in industrial setting, what needrnto be developed further, and what we can contribute to the MatPLC project.
