Krisnayudha, Yoga - Personal Name; Prajogo, Tutuko - Personal Name;

A power line communication device has been designed, constructed, tested and verified in this project using the newest ST7540 FSK power line transceiver IC.rnrnThe device has been designed to transmit and receive data by protocol transparent connecting two existing nodes in the modbus protocol network which are a robot control application program in the FMS Simulator Software developed in house as master and Mitsubishi Industrial Micro-Robot System model RV-M1 as slave.rnrnTwo Prototypes has been constructed as a data communication pair which implements a specially considered error correcting protocol for the power line medium which assume to be unknown noisy. rnrnAn experiment with 18 % bit error rate condition of the power line medium shows that the communication still works but it will slower because of noise problem. This experiment also shows that data communication between two nodes can be implemented to connect two existing nodes.
