Implementation of a ray tracing algorithm using opengl

In 3D image projects, a 3D image processing unit such as 3D MAX or MAYA, already became a popular choice. Through this project the author wants to show that rendering a 3D image is not always need tools. Also, implementing ray tracing algorithm in rendering an image possibly done with ease.rnrnFunctions for creating objects, positioning them in the scene, defining the lighting and material properties and also applying texture mapping are available at OpenGL library.rnrnThe points of doing this project is rendering a 3D image is possibly done without using image processing unit. In fact, the author feels coding an OpenGL application is a lot easier than other. This could be an alternative way to learn or do a rendering while the cost of a image processing tools is quite expensive. A ray tracing algorithm already implemented in OpenGL lighting effect.
