The Benefit of having a labor union in handling workers' disputes (case study in PT. Aero Nusantara Indonesia)
Labor union with the help from government policies gives a fair solution to overcome the industrial relation disputes. Yet, there are some companies, which do not have labor union because several reasons. Generally, they think that all labor union can only give bad image about company to labor and provocateur labor to do strike which give nothing than troubles for the company. Furthermore, labor union often consider as a burden in sense of efficiency and effectiveness.rnrnAs a matter a fact, there are number of literatures stated that labor union does give advantages not only for workers but also for the company. Labor union could significantly influence to create better industrial relationship. Labor union could make Human Resource Department job easier since the labor union is the representative of workers and may become mutual partners.rnrnThus, I would like to share labor union viewers in promoting a labor union to the company that do not has labor union in my thesis. From my thesis, you will find out PT. Aero Nusantara Indonesia (PT. ANI) as one of example for the company that does not have labor union. Through it, you could well inform in certain extent how PT. ANI substitutes the labor union with forum communication and the reasons for it. You would find out as well about what kind of suggestions of PT. ANIs' workers/ labor about forum communication itself and whether they have intention in planning to make labor union in PT. ANI.
