Customer satisfaction and business improvement: a case study of Smiley's Cafe
Service industry become bigger and bigger nowadays. The customer realizes they not only need products, but also services as an entity. Superior service hold important role for a service provider to be sustained in the market. For example, the main businesses of restaurant / café not only provide food and beverages to the customer. They also provide convenient service to them while the customer consumes the food and beverages. The main objective of this study was to study to what extent the customers are satisfied towards Smiley's cafe services.The research was conducted by analyzing primary and secondary data. Primary data is gathered from questionnaire which questioned the respondents about their satisfaction level towards Smiley's Cafe and the availability of food and beverages in Smiley's Cafe which indicates supply chain management. Besides, the author also did an interview to the management of Smiley's Cafe to gather the information which was not in the questionnaire. The secondary data is gathered from Internet, books, journals, and Smiley's Café. SPSS 12.0 Student Version is used to analyze the data.rnrnAfter processing the data, it indicated that the level of customer satisfaction in Smiley's Cafe is relatively low. Thus, Smiley's cafe should increase their customer satisfaction in order to keep their sales and to survive the business.
