The purpose of this thesis is to study the major factors that influence success of company PT. Sinar Haska Lestari, by investigating their strategies to survive in the current situation where the timber industry in Indonesia is dramatically declining. The research in this thesis had been conducted by providing questionnaire to staff, manager and owner, primarily to find out what factors and strategies of company PT. Sinar Haska Lestari that makes it able to survive its position and even further they can build and develop their company become bigger even the timber industry is declining.
