The influence of corporate culture on the operation of F&B department as driver that leads to competitive advantage: a case study at Sari Pan Pacific Hotel - Jakarta
The purpose of this study is to analyze the core values which are usually known as the unique culture of Sari Pan Pacific Hotel that becomes very significant in obtaining competitive advantage. In order to be able to identify the social and cultural differences among individuals within the organization that can hinder competitiveness of a certain department or the hotel as a whole, the study will also need to examine both individual and organizational values to see the strong influence of certain culture in giving competitive advantage to the department or the hotel. The advantages gained through this observation are not only the increased loyalty and commitment of employees towards organizational missions and goals, but also improved understanding of customer's expectations and demands as potential revenue generator.
