A study of labor law in relation to the increasing of outsourcing by companies in Indonesia
Outsourcing is the process of transferring responsibility for an area of services to an external provider. Outsourcing today is seen as a strategic management option rather than just a cost efficiency. It helps companies achieve their business objectives through operational quality and gain market position. The outsourcing implementation must be supported by the government as a regulator in order to accommodate the importance of parties involved - outsourcing provider company, outsourcing worker, and user company -. And this thesis describes the role of outsourcing regulation in supporting the implementation of outsourcing. rnrnThe scopes of the research are to analyze the determining factor for companies in conducting outsourcing activities, to explore the activities which are categorized as the activities of non core business that can possibly be done through outsourcing as stipulated in labor law no. 13 year 2003, to study the relationship between Outsourcing Employee and User Company from law perspective.
