Strategy of p.t. Samara permata to implement the government program in conversion energy from kerosene to liquid petroleum gas in kebayoran baru
The purpose of this thesis is to study the impact of energy conversion program from Kerosene to Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG) in the market. The study will focus on the strategy that P.T. Samara Permata could develop as LPG business player, in implementing the conversion program. This research involved 100 questionnaires that being given to the respondents who has ever use Kerosene. The questionnaires were targeted to find out what variety of factors that influenced them, as customers, either in implementing or not implementing regarding to the conversion program. In addition, this research is also conducted another type of survey which is interview that involved P.T. Samara Permata management to compile further information about the company. rnrnBy doing the research, it turns out that there are many opportunities for the company to implement the government conversion program and also the opportunities to increase the sales of the company. Besides those above opportunities the finding also show some weaknesses and threats that could give impact to the company. All of the negative result that appears are possible to be solved; by adding more product line, which is 3kg LPG, promotion and education to people who have not convert and also by developing new distribution channels that will to contribute the success of conversion program.
