This thesis describes the cutting machine which has ability to control the torque. The cutting machine cut leaves in certain torque and it depend of the thickness of leaves. The automatic cutting machine has 3 sub system, cutter blade, presser and conveyor.rnThe cutter blade is equipped with AC motor. The torque of the AC motor is control by the inverter. The torque of the AC motor depend how's the thickness of the leaves. The cutter blade is support with presser and conveyor and it's equipped with 2 DC motors. The conveyor equip with encoder to control the speed of DC motor. It delivers leaves to the presser and cutter blade. The presser will press leaves to measure a thickness of leaves and to hold leaves during cutting process. The presser are equip with 2 limit switch as initial position and safety position. Ultrasonic sensor is use to measure a thickness of leaves.
