Syarfuan, Alirizal - Personal Name; Tanaya, Prianggada Indra - Personal Name;

In this thesis, I designed and constructed a SCARA robot which is including the base, the link 2 and 3 which are can moved to the left or right, and the gripper. The problem is how to make the SCARA robot solves the tower of Hanoi puzzle. The primary purpose is to develop an interfacing system using the AT89S51 microcontroller to control the robot. The second purpose is to interface the microcontroller with the SCARA robot so the robot can solved the puzzle. The methodology is, I saved the algorithm to solve the tower of Hanoi puzzle into the microcontroller AT89S51. The parts of the robot can move 90 degree to the left or right and upside or downside. The robot is able to do task like grabbing an object and then moving into another place, for this thesis I will try to solve tower of Hanoi. The program was written in assembly language and used a robot which was designed and constructed by me.
