Role of scheduling toward productivity improvement at stamping division in PT. Posmi Steel Indonesia

The purpose of this research is to find a solution for the problem of PT. POSMI Steel Indonesia and make suggestion to the management of PT. POSMI Steel Indonesia in order to increase the productivity through scheduling. The research was conducted using quantitative and qualitative approach which taken through literature survey, observation and interview. Quantitative approach is used when calculating variable testing. Qualitative approach is used in analyzing the role of non related schedule problem. Variable testing approach is used to test the hypothesis .While variable testing is used to see whether the variables involved can overcome the problem if it is used individually or in combination with other variables. The result of the research shows that the implementation of scheduling does not improve productivity at PT. POSMI Steel Indonesia.
