Designing and developing a filling station for an automated and flexible bottling machine

Kusmanto, Budiman - Personal Name; Sinaga, Maralo - Personal Name;

This thesis is made to design, develop, and analyze a machine that will be able to fill bottle water. This filling machine is part of an automation system of bottle water filling system that consists of three other different machines or subsystems. The whole system consists of a rinsing machine, filling machine, capping machine, and packaging machine. The filling machine purpose is to fill a bottle with predetermined amount of water respectively to its bottle size. Therefore to find out its bottle size, the system has to be able to find out its sizes. There are three types of bottle sizes will be filled, they are 330ml, 600ml and 1500ml. In order to make the flow of bottle goes well, transportation within station and inter station have to be considered well. Despite those subsystems, there is also a tank where the water supply comes in. The water tank has to be able give signal whether the air supply is sufficient or not. In order to make the system automated, a control system will be utilized.
