Designing and constructing two-wheel human transporter
This thesis is intended to design and construct a two wheel human transporter. The transporter will be able to carry a person and at the same time balance itself to its upright position. To achieve this purpose the transporter is equipped with an accelerometer and a gyroscope that will determined the tilting error for the balancing system. The transporter will also be equipped with 2 H-bridge controller to control the movement of 2 DC motor forward or backward. The transporter will be design to be able to withstand minimum weight of a person. Moreover, the transporter is equipped with 2 gearboxes which will increase the torque of the motor and reduce the speed of the motor. A microcontroller will be used to control all the system.
