Study and analysis on three phase inverter for photovoltaic system using igbt module
This thesis' purpose is to design and analyze three-phase inverter with IGBT. The aim of this thesis is to produce renewable and efficient energy especially by using photo-voltaic cells (PV). Three-phase inverter in this PV system has only six IGBTs configuration and three IGBT drivers. Compared to conventional three-phase inverter system that has twelve IGBTs and six IGBT drivers. Furthermore, this system does not need to use step up transformer. PV system generates power in the form of direct current. An inverter will be used to convert the direct current generated by the system to an alternating current with constant frequency. The process is started by recognizing the characteristics of an IGBT. To control an IGBT, a gate driver is needed. The design of this gate driver has an important role in an inverter system. To aid the experiments, some devices are made to simulate a PV system which will be used to feed the inverter system.
