Analysis and implementation of information technology services management based on Control Objectives for Information and related Technology (COBIT) domain at Swiss German University

As international university, Swiss German University is able to provide good facilitiesrnfor their student, especially Information Technology. Swiss German Universityrnprovides Information Technology for their students to support their campus activities.rnBeside students, SGU Staff also use Information Technology to run their workrnactivities. Therefore, SGU needs a good management of Information Technology inrnorder to maintain the performance of it. In this research, the author will analyze thernimplementation of Information Technology Services management, which is ControlrnObjectives for Information and Related Technology (COBIT). The analysis focuses tornmeasure and compare the current process at ISS department (department that handlernand manage Information Technology at Swiss German University) with processesrnbased on COBIT. The results generated from the research found that there are somerngaps existing between the processes at ISS department with the processes based onrnCOBIT. Proposed solutions generated based on the research to increase thernperformance of ISS department in order to manage the Information TechnologyrnServices.
