This thesis is intended to design and analyze an inventory control system for PT. Harapan Widyatama Pertiwi?s warehouse. The objective of this thesis is to develop an efficient inventory control system for several types of PVC pipes store in a warehouse base on market demand. The system should be able to fulfill the dynamic demand in the market and minimize the cost. The result of two models of inventory system, continuous review (Q,r) backorder model and periodic review (R,T) backorder model, are compared and the best result that yields the smallest total cost and the minimum space requirement are chosen.
