Online vehicle navigation and visual tracking system
The objectives of this thesis are to build an online visual system for vehiclernnavigation and detail surrounding conditions of the vehicle, so the user canrnmonitor the vehicle position and condition.rnThe thesis is mainly designed for entertainment and security purpose. Thernentertainment is given by watching the online visualization of the vehicle, as ifrnthe users were riding it. The security purpose undergoes its role when therndevice is implemented on public transportations. This purpose is done forrnchecking the route and further operational control by giving a report. Thus,rnpeople can learn about networking system of a remote communicationrnbetween two CPUs, video streaming concept, accelerometer and otherrnsensors used in connection with microcontroller, distance metering usingrncomputer vision, GPS and general purpose microprocessor.rnThe experimental method is done by sending video, vehicle position fromrnGPS and all data from the sensors in the vehicle, all information is firstlyrnprocessed at the server and then sent to the client. Lastly, a video and allrninformation of the vehicle are displayed to the user on a GUI.
