The purpose of this research is to evaluate the impacts of EU-Indonesia BusinessrnDialogue (EIBD) on trade and investment between EU countries and Indonesia,rnparticularly in the pharmaceutical industry. This research is classified into qualitativernmethod and done using exploratory approach. The combination of in-depth interviewrnand secondary statistical data are utilized to draw out some conclusions. Firstly thernstudy shows that the most challenging obstacle in the trade and investment activitiesrnbetween the EU and Indonesia is regulation. Secondly it also shows that EIBD?srnimpact is not visible yet in this short term period. However, if the EIBD isrncontinuously arranged with some improvement, it surely can boost trade andrninvestment.
