The analysis of potential skateboard park as a new theme to market tmii to attract young people
Taman Mini Indonesia is big tourism destination that serves national cultural tourism. On 2009 TMII begin to developing TMII Green Skate Park, as a new market theme to attract young people. This research will analyze the potential of Skate Park as tourism attraction to attract young people and using TMII Green Skate Park as a model, to find out the advantages and disadvantages of TMII by developing Skate Park, data gathered by interviewing TMII Green Skate Park management, and to analyze the customer satisfaction in TMII Green Skate Park using questionnaires that processing with T-test formula. Most of theories that use to do this research are the theory cohort about consumer behavior based on generation.rnAs the result, the study has shown that developing Skate Park are potential for TMII to attract young people, in order to achieve their goal to attract young people to visit TMII and to invite and introduce them the riches of national culture. Based on the questionnaires result, found that TMII Green Skate Park still needs to improve their strategy and promotion, and improving the customer satisfaction especially about the accessibility and the product of TMII Green Skate Park.
