Kepulauan Seribu is very potential to be developed as a marine tourism destination in Jakarta. The conservation sites and beauty marine ecosystems attract both domestic and international visitors. This thesis is focusing on Pramuka Island and will explore the island?s SWOT analysis, identify the factors that influence the growth of the island and identify local visitors? perception of Pramuka Island. Theories that are used in this thesis are the theory of tourism destination management and SWOT analysis.rnSince Pramuka Island became the Central District of Kepulauan Seribu, the number of tourists? arrivals to the island increased significantly because of its unique sea potentials and valuable conservation sites. In order to develop Pramuka Island, government still has to improve several factors such as transportation services, promotional program, and efforts to increase people awareness in preserving the environment.
