Value creation of publicly listed property and real estate companies in Indonesia

This study is trying to figure out the value creation existence and to scrutinize the influence of value creation indicators towards the property and real estate sector. The data analysis comprise of 39 publicly listed companies in Indonesia and hence, using only secondary sources as data collection method. In this thesis, the analysis is conducted through Microsoft excel to see the trend of value creation?s indicators and Pearson?s Correlation from SPSS Student Version to see the relationship between the indicators and value creation?s concept specifically competitive advantage and value based management. At the later phase, the study conclude that there is a presence of value creation in the industry, which can be seen from the increase trend in most of the indicators within range of year from 2008 until 2010 and CBA (cost and benefit analysis) as the best indicator that is related most to value creation in the industry.
