Feasibility study of maximizing tablet pc for education purpose in Swiss German University

Currently tablet pc is happening now. Many technology industries are racing to be number one for tablet pc producer. Apple was a pioneer on 2010 with iPad. Based on Apple press release on June 2010, Apple sells three million iPads in 80 days. It was booming and makes many competitors are trying to beat iPad. Starting with Samsung Galaxy tab, HTC flyer, Kindle Fire and many more are racing to be number one. On the other side, it makes notebook and desktop abandoned. People prefer tablet pc because it is lighter and mobile. It has many features too. The bad news is people invest around $250 - $600 for general browsing, playing games and just few of them using it for productivity or education. This research is trying to see is there any prospect for SGU's student using tablet pc for education purpose. Starting with ebook reader, improving presentation skill and learn everywhere and every time. Group discussion between student and lecturer will not facing distance problem and improving communication between them. For the conclusion, tablet pc is better to be used for education and productivity than playing games or just lifestyle. It changes people perspective about tablet pc.
