Gitowardojo, Jevon Christian - Personal Name; Prajogo, Tutuko - Personal Name; Rusyadi, Rusman - Personal Name;

The objective of this thesis is to improve the color detection process and methodology of an existing paint filling and mixing machine. The problem of this thesis is how to produce similar color with the color reference by monitoring the Hue value of the color. Mixing theory and color detection method will be analyzed and tested by experimenting in color mixing and color control as well. Mixing process is done in primary colors only. Lightness of the color will also be analyzed by addition of white/black color to the base color. The process is monitored from Value parameter. The process is facilitated by Qt for reading image in HSV color system. The improvement is in terms of color control in order to produce similar result with the reference. In conclusion, by having the methodology in producing similar color mixture with the reference, the color detection process is able to be implemented on the machine.
