Enterprise resource planning implementation in PT. Multi Structure Sarana: a case study of Adempiere ERP configuration for a construction company
In this information age, a system that can integrate the information management of an organization starting from the front office until the back office transaction is a significant element to be considered in order to optimize the overall efficiency. In the manual activity, stovepipe system is appeared as the result data sharing with another function in each department remain inactive. This study was then conducted in order to identify in how far the configuration of Adempiere ERP as an application for the integrated system which is Enterprise Resource Planning can cover the company information management system and reducing the conducted manual activity. By finding the gap between both function, the configuration is involving company business process analysis and also the model of application business process based on the literature in the terms of aligning purpose. The results are indicating the improvement in company time efficiency and the company recording activity with a real time function that appear in the post-implementation.
