Artificial neural network has been used widely around the world. It has helped in various circumstances like solving problem, function approximation, and any others. There are a many types of artificial neural network, one of them is spiking neural network. For a branch subject from artificial neural network, spiking neural network is rather new compared to its descendant like feedforward neural network. Thus the capability of spiking neural network is still questionable. But research has proven that spiking neural network has the potential to solve more difficult and complex problem. This thesis will test the capability of spiking neural network in solving XOR problem to see whether it has a better performance compared to other neural network.
