Genetic algorithm based class scheduling
As the number of students in SGU is increasing from time to time, the number of classes to be conducted is becoming larger respectively. The current system lacks the capability to produce the initial lecture schedule automatically. Therefore, having a system that helps to create lecture schedule is imperative. The purpose of this study is to develop an automated and intelligent class scheduling system to find optimum solution in Swiss German University. Genetic Algorithm has been chosen and constraint has been defined by analyzing the current process in ASC department. The Genetic Algorithm based for class scheduling already built. So it just needs to be modified so it could handle the problem in Swiss German University. In the end, the program is able to arrange the weekly basis schedule in short period of time.
