Supply chain measurement in PT. XYZ using Supply Chain Operation Reference (SCOR) model
Supply chain management is very important for manufacturing company. A company should have a good supply chain to manage all the product, service and so on. Supply chain is managing all flow processes from raw material until the finish goods received by end user or customer. Flow processes itself consists of: flow of material, flow of information, and flow of financial or cost. The trend of increase in customer demand for heavy equipment as influenced by the rapid growth of mining industry in Indonesia. So that supply chain should be supported, responsived, and adapted with every situation. The author wants to help a company to know about the current process of supply chain. Supply chain operations reference (SCOR) model is a solution to measure the condition of the current supply chain. The Supply Chain Operations Reference (SCOR) model provides a unique framework that links performance metrics, processes, best practices, and people into a unified structure. The framework supports communication between supply chain partners and enhances the effectiveness of supply chain management, technology, and related supply chain improvement activities. SCOR identifies five core supply chain performance attributes: Reliability, Responsiveness, Agility, Costs, and Asset Management. Consideration of these attributes makes it possible to compare an organization that strategically chooses to be the low-cost provider against an organization that chooses to compete on reliability and performance. The primary purpose of this research paper is to make an evaluation of supply chain for product type Vessel' in PT. XYZ using SCOR model version 10.0. The others purpose of this research paper is to give some alternatives solution for known issues after an evaluation and to provide suggestion on evaluation result and analysis that can be used as input to make an improvement on the future."
