Impact of firm's specific factors and macroeconomic condition on performance of indonesian manufacturing industry

This research is conducted to find out the impact of firm's specific factors and macroeconomic conditions on firm's performance in manufacturing industry. The sample used is 97 out of 131 firms in manufacturing industries that is listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange. This study employs multiple linear regressions to test the hypothesis. In addition, the data analysis is conducted separately for each sector in the manufacturing industries. Results from the analysis indicates that each sector of the manufacturing industries is affected by different variables of firm's specific factors and macroeconomic variables.
