The impact of liquidity performance in short term debt and sales volume towards company performance in cumber goods industries
The purpose of this research is to study and analyze whether the liquidity performance has an impact towards the company performance using profitability ratio as the indicators in publicly listed consumer goods industry in Indonesia. The samples used for this thesis are the average of several accounts from financial statement of 29 publicly listed consumer goods company from 2001 - 2010. Based on the Anova-test that being performed in this study can be concluded that ROA, and net profit margin cannot be used as the variable to answer the hypothesis. Thus, by using t-test, only ROA will be used as variable to answer the research questions and hypothesis. Finding of this research is liquidity performance in terms of the ability to pay short term debt is not significant towards ROA of the company, and sales volume has a positive correlation towards ROA.
