The Benefit of local wisdom for tourism. Study case: Mandala Wisata Wenara Wana - Ubud (monkey forest)
The Wenara Wana Monkey Forest - Ubud is one of the famous ecotourism attractions in Bali. It started when the local wisdom playing an important role among the community, and the community strictly obey the rules that occurred among the community. The issue in this research is about how to preserve the forest from destruction and keep the area clean and natural, the local wisdom and local people, even the government, have a good cooperation in preserving the forest, they supporting each other and do many things to preserve and to increase the economical aspect around Ubud. And since Monkey Forest being a famous tourism attraction, western lifestyle slowly affecting the people around Ubud area, it feared the local culture and wisdom vanished because the emerging of western lifestyle in Monkey Forest, even almost in entire Bali. In this research I use a descriptive method and empirical method to examine the data, and the data that I collect is secondary data and also primary data to support the secondary data. To support the research method I use the qualitative method and also some of the quantitative method to extract the data I collect and producing a precise output.
