A growing technology nowadays is high rapidly. The interaction between device and machine or mobile robot also developed every year. Speech is the one of the simplest way to do a communication. Many controllers were developed to control many things especially a mobile robot. But until now, Speech Recognition has reached the highest rank in communication system. Android Operating System is chosen for the speech recognition device to control an Unmanned Ground Vehicle that usually served in military service. Android is the device that provides the user to develop any software with Linux Kernel as its base. In this project, speech phenomenon with the Android Smartphone to control the Unmanned Ground Vehicle is discussed also by comparing the accuracy of speech recognition between man and woman and to test how well by using an Android application technology in industries.
