Assessment of employee satisfaction and how workplace design help improving performance: a case study at Swiss German University
This thesis research is intended to do an assessment of employee satisfaction at Swiss German University and how workplace design help to improve employee performance. Workplace environment can affect employee's morale and their morale affected employee satisfaction and influences their productivity. By the increase of satisfaction it will improve employee's performance at the office. The research of this thesis is exploratory research which can be done by doing survey. The survey is done by using questionnaire and interview to SGU employees. As an approach to help finding the solution Human Performance Technology model is being used. The phase of that model that are being use is gap analysis. The content of the gap analysis is using data from the questionnaire and benchmarking. Based on the benchmarking the improvement that can be made to boost employee's performance are changing the layout, furniture, and make the office wall more colorful.
