Development of fetal doppler

Fetal Doppler is a medical equipments from earlier technology that is still used in the pregnancy diagnostic. Although from earlier technology, fetal Doppler is still imported from various countries. The aim of this thesis is to develop a prototype of fetal Doppler that is made locally, in hope can increase local industries economic. An electronic base and the transducer are important to develop a fetal Doppler. The electronic-base had already generated sound wave with frequency 3.57 MHz and 6 VPP and produced an audible sound from a given signal through the speaker. The transducer consists of piezoelectric ceramic had been made, however the output are not as expected.
