The ASEAN open skies policy 2015 on the opportunities for low-cost carriers in Indonesia. The case study of PT Citilink Indonesia
This thesis identifies the Citilink Marketing Staff awareness level towards the ASEAN Open Skies Policy 2015 and identifies which factors significantly influence the awareness level. It also analyses the main contents of the ASEAN Open Skies Policy 2015 compared to the current Indonesian Aviation Law, analyses SWOT of Citilink, and finally determine the suitable strategy for Citilink to face the implementation of the regional open skies.rnThis research is a descriptive study using quantitative and qualitative approach and the data are gathered from primary and secondary sources. Questionnaire was distributed to Citilink Marketing Staff and analysed using IBM SPSS and SPSS Amos. Citilink Marketing Staff awareness level towards the ASEAN Open Skies Policy is high and knowledge factor significantly influences the awareness level. There are benefits and drawbacks of implementation of ASEAN Open Skies Policy, however Citilink as Indonesian low ? cost carrier is already in good position and must practice aggressive strategy to maximize the opportunity so that it can successfully compete in regional level.
