Influence of organizational culture on organizational citizenship behavior: a study case of Redtop Hotel, Jakarta
The fact that organizational culture (OC) and organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) affect the organizational effectiveness becomes the reason behind this research. Moreover a strong OC will produce a positive OCB among employees. This research focused on identifying the influence of OC on OCB in REDTOP Hotel in Jakarta. It focuses on case study of REDTOP Hotel, Jakarta. Consequently, the research method used a quantitative research. It was supported with primary data from a questionnaire using Likert scale that was collected from 247 respondents from the employees of REDTOP Hotel, and secondary data from journals, books, and other sources. As the result, it is found that there is a significant positive influence of OC on OCB at 79.9% and the factor of OC that has the highest influence on OCB is Adaptability at 80.1%. Based on this case study, the hotel should improve their OC in order to have a positive OCB and the adaptability factor should be maximized so that it can influence the OCB at the highest level, but the other factors should not be forgotten.
