Analysis the effect of motivation factors in relation to selected socio-demographic characteristics in room division. Case study: Hotel X
One of the factors that determine company efficiency is motivation. Employees that are motivated to work will productive when working and also giving good advantages for company business. Therefore by determining the suitable motivation factor to work for employee, it will boost employee performance to more productive when working and create effective and efficiency of company. This thesis will focus on the issue of motivation factors in relation to selected socio-demographic characteristics. With the purpose is to determine whether different of selected socio-demographic characteristics implement different motivation factor. Data analysis use in this research is Discriminant Analysis to classify selected socio-demographic characteristics. For findings it indicate that every selected socio-demographic characteristics has different motivation factors. It proves by the different of dominant motivation factor of selected socio-demographic characteristics. Based on the findings, recommendations were given to management of Hotel X, to improve motivation of employee in Hotel X.
