Corporate social responsibility and good corporate governance toward company perfomance: an empirical perfomance study in consumer goods industry during 2002 - 2012
Corporate social responsibility and corporate governance has become the global issue that attract the attention either the company or society. Many studies have been done to prove the relationship or impact of the application of both corporate social responsibility and the good corporate governance toward the company?s performance. This research is conducted prior to emphasize on providing the empirical evidence for the company about the application of corporate social responsibility and corporate governance toward the firm?s performance particularly in consumer good industry in Indonesia. Primary data and secondary data will be used in conducting this research to ensure all evidence could be gathered. The results showed that there are only a few companies with CSR Score 5% or above it, while the others that seems have a high contribution in fact are all below 5%, whereas for GCG, it shows a synchronous between GCG score with firm Reputation.
