Machining Costing Validation of CNC G-Code Part Program a Java Based Software Application Development
This thesis is to address the problem that commonly appear in the manufacturing industry, where it is difficult to determining validity of production cost. in practice, the cost are determined by using their intuitive or by their historical experiences. This project commences constructing a validation cost tool in form of a software application. This software will calculate the production cost based on G-code part programming. the G-code part programming will be parsed in Java programming and will be used as variable to get the machining time and cost. This thesis focusing on turning operation and on CNC lathe machine. in the process of building the application captures the idea of product development process with the prototype itself assigned as the product developed. the functionally-tested application has made it a prototype with a prospect in becoming a very helpful tool in the future to find a valid cost with consideration of several direct cost element.
