The Impact of Stress Level on Work Place toward Job Satisfaction: Case Study of Novotel Benoa

In this modern time, the demands of life have become higher than they have ever been. They have to deal with direct or indirect competition from anywhere. These factors are influence daily life and can cause stress. Job stress is one biggest problem in the world. Most employees often feel stress due to work. Stressor may come in different forms and the influence of each form may differ. There are two causes of stress, external and internal factors. the purpose of this research is to identify the sources of stress, analyses the coping strategy, and asses the objective perception and job satisfaction of the employees. This is a descriptive analysis research. the method to be used is qualitative data gather directly from the source. the technique used is interview. the sources of data are taken from primary and secondary data collection. This research shows that the subjected hotel has different stress level within two different departments. the stress level in this particular hotel classified as low to medium level of stress. Restaurant department shows less stress level compared to front office department. And the job satisfaction is averagely high.
